Once upon a time, there was a lovely seaside estate in Carmel, CA, that was home to Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman.
Carl Panattoni saw the home and bought it. Then, the Chairman of the Board for the Panattoni Development Corporation and his wife also purchased two adjacent properties to create the largest waterfront parcel—2.37 acres—in all Carmel.
The sprawling compound sits on the 10th hole of the storied Pebble Beach Golf Club and once listed for $79 million; it is back on the market for $37.5 million.
