As the NBA playoff season approaches, retired basketball star Juwan Howard has scored a sale in South Beach.
Currently an assistant coach for the Miami Heat, the two-time NBA champion pocketed $2.4 million for his penthouse apartment at the Three Tequesta Point high-rise in Miami, reports The Real Deal. The unit first came to market in 2012 for $3.5 million, but saw its price cut to $2.8 million earlier this year. Despite the price cuts, Howard still came out ahead in the deal—the former member of the University of Michigan’s “Fab Five” paid just shy of $1.6 million for the property in 2003.
