What can you do with $40 million in Brooklyn? Well, you could buy a few metric tons of artisanal pickles, fair-trade soap, and enough PVC-free yoga mats to blanket the entire NYC borough.
Or you could take that same amount of dough and plow it into a personal residence with all the authenticity that Brooklynites famously crave: The enormous, stately Low Mansion, built in 1856, has hit the market for a borough-record $40 million.
