For many folks, buying an oceanfront home is a dream fulfilled — sand, surf, and plenty of sun.
Close your eyes and imagine being lulled to sleep by the sound of crashing surf. Peaceful, right? Those sweet dreams can become a reality if you purchase an oceanfront home.
We combed through homes currently for sale to find nine simply beach-y locations. And while homes along the ocean can be price prohibitive, we located a few examples of oceanfront living for less than a million bucks.
