Do You Know What To Do If Your Buying A Property and Your Not Sure If Something Is Permitted

Always check with the City Hall Building Department to check the records for a specific property.  If you buy a property and there are no approved and finalized permits for a room addition, you could be asked to remove it by the City.  Building Records are generally considered public information and can be obtained for a small fee and in most cases for free.

I recommend to all my buyers to check with the City Hall whenever they are purchasing a property.  They need to know the history behind their investment.  You want to know what you are buying!!...especially since it's probably the biggest investment of your life.

I hope you find this information helpful!
