David Duffield made a lot of money creating software for large businesses—at one point, PeopleSoft, the company he co-founded in 1987, was the second-largest software company in the world.
Oracle bought PeopleSoft in 2005, and Duffield started a new company called Workday. The company’s Pleasanton offices aren’t far from his Blackhawk, CA, home, which he’s now selling for $15 million.
