This Week’s Most Popular Homes Are All Over the Place

December 4th, 2015 12:46 PM by Teresa Molina

This week’s most-clicked homes on realtor.com® are literally and figuratively all over the map. It’s hard to pluck a unifying theme from this diverse batch of popular listings, so we’ll focus on the highlights.

  • The week’s most popular home is on the market for the first time in almost 50 years. With a price tag of $795,000 and over 8,000 square feet of living space, this Texas Tudor is only $96 a square foot. That’s a bargain, unless you consider the next highlight.
  • The house that finished the week in fourth place has a $1 price tag. This burned-out reclamation project in Detroit is the cheapest home to ever crack our most popular list. Could it be a sign of the times?
  • Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s historic mansion in New Orleans is back on the market and our list. Their French Quarter property sports a new price tag and a revamped marketing strategy.
