There are lots of things about Los Angeles that are cool:

• It’s the birthplace of the hot fudge sundae, and we’re not really sure we need to go farther than that.
• Los Angeles was originally called, “El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora Reina de los Ángeles sobre el Río Porciúncula”—a regal title at its best.
• There’s an oil derrick on the grounds of Beverly Hills High School that makes the school about $300,000 a year.
• Oscar-nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal’s house in Hollywood Hills.

As luck would have it, that last thing is up for grabs.
